"And the best story-telling reward goes to..."

We all know of least one person that likes to tell tales. You know the stories they believe to be true but you get the feeling that they are lying? They are calmly known as fakers. I know least three of them and it urks me when they tell me things because I'm always second-guessing what they say. They say it's true and will go out of there way to prove it to you, but the proof is questionable. My biggest confusion is why must they lie? Do they do it to seem better than others? Maybe they wish to feel better about themselves? Regardless of the reason, a lie is still a lie if you tell someone it.

The problem with me is that once I start second-guessing someone, I start picking apart everything detail about their story to see how it can be true. It drives me insane but it urks me to not know the truth. Now I can't come right and say "you're lying" cause where would that get me? I have no proof they are lying (even if their story is very questionable) so it leads to unwanted drama. And who wants more drama? So I let them tell their story while in my mind I'm piecing it all together and editing out what I believe to be lies. I don't do this to be mean or cause trouble, I do this process to figure out the truth so I won't be decieved. Which I have been decieved before by people i thought I could trust.

For privacy and to prevent drama the identities of any real person in my blogs will be kept hidden. It's for safety purposes.

One of the three people I know for a fact is a liar, cause the person makes up these out-of-the-ordinary stories that are impossible to be true such as working for a co-op organization or being different fictional species. The person has done this his/her whole life, well since i've known the person (which is for about five or so years). I thought the person did this for fun, to role-play since reality can be boring, but he/she will become pissed off if you disbelieve him/her. Not to mention this person likes to gossip about others, which the person will add his/her own details so you have no clue if the gossip is true or not. Sadly this person is worse out of the three since he/she likes to create drama by the tales that is told. Gotta be extra careful with that person. My conclusion is this person just wants attention so he/she tells tales to be better than the rest.

Now the second person is not as bad but still not trustworthy. He/She will spread lies about his/her life and that of others. Often even talking badly behind others' backs to make him/her look good. This person doesn't tell as tall of tales as the first, the tales seem more realistic but if you put logic to it you can tell that the person is lying. This person is more of the "crying wolf" type like saying he/she has been raped and had kids by the age of thirteen, which doesn't make sense because I've went to school with this person when they were that age. But like the first you cannot call this person on the lie unless you want drama to unfold. This person also seems to say he/she is with a certain person and in love, which is false when you learn from another source that they broke up or never even dated. This person does have sex with many people but it's certain people that you know is a lie cause you personaly know them. Simply, the person lied about having relationship with certain people. My conclusion about this person is that he/she wants to believe the life he/she lives is perfect and he/she is better than the rest so he/she makes lies to make him/her feel better.

The third person, the least out of the three and the person that is half trustworthy when it comes to the truth. I will say this person is loyal to his/her friends and rarely talks badly behind others' backs, however they are known for telling tales which he/she belives to be true. The tales that are said is usually about the person's life, talking about having certain "powers" and realistic lies about events in his/her life. Powers such as fantasy stuff, and realistic lies meaning having sex with certain people or having children. I know the fantasy tales are false, but the realistic lies are more confusing to put together because there could be truth in there but there is also lies mixed in. Kinda like a bag of skittles among m&ms, the colors mix very well but you know there is some that don't belong if you look closely enough. I have trouble with this person the most for that very reason, I have to look very closely to figure out what is truth and what is a lie. He/She tells one thing but down the road he/she says another which doesn't match. Can this person really have a child even when he/she said years ago that he/she is un-able to have kids? Or when you have proof the person sexually flirted with a friend, but told you that your friend was the one that came onto him/her? I don't know what to believe with this person so I wack my brain trying to figure it out. My conclusion to why this person does this is because he/she isn't happy with his/her life so tales are told to make this person feel better.

Well that's it for those three story-tellers and the tales they tell. Are the tales real? Who knows unless you do your research and record everything they've told you. Mind you, I'm not a bad person for recording (saving things such as conversations) what i've been told, I do this for safety reasons so I wont' be betrayed or backed into a corner by a lie. A person can't harm you if you know the truth and use it agaisnt them at the right moment. That's why I do this, to prevent liars getting the upper-hand. I hate being lied to and will do anything I'm able to gather up the truth. Their tales may seem harmless to some but it hurts to be lied to and even more so when they try to convince you it's true. Sadly I never call them on it unless I neccissarly have to because I want to prevent drama, but I always seek the truth regardless.

I may guess why they are this way but I truly don't understand people who tell tales. Maybe they just want attention? Maybe they want to feel better about their lives? Or could be they want to feel superior to you? Regardless, it's annoying. I rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not. Don't tell tales because trust is very fragile and will be lost forever if you lie.
